Ordering Your Product

When you are completely done creating and customizing your product, you are ready to place your order. In the ordering process you will specify the quantity of products desired, shipping address, shipping method, billing address, and apply gift cards or promotion codes, if applicable.

You can add items to your cart and begin the ordering process one of two ways:

a. Click the Add to Cart button on the bottom right-hand side of the Designer screen.
b. From the Home screen, double click the project folder containing the product you would like to add to your cart. Locate the product and click the Order button on the right-hand side of the product's module.

Order Summary

The Order Summary dialog box shows the products that are currently in your cart. It is also the first box you see after selecting the Add to Cart or View Cart buttons. Each time you add items to your cart, you will see the items added in the Order Summary dialog box.

You can add or reduce the quantity of a product order one of two ways:

a. Click the Reduce Icon or Add Icon buttons listed to the right of the product name.
b. Write the quantity desired in the text box to the right of the product name.

Removing Items From Cart

To remove an item from your cart, go to the Order Summary dialog box and click on Remove. The item will no longer appear in your cart.

Ordering Studio Samples

Studio samples are a great way to showcase your work to potential customers. Studio sample products are exactly the same as a regular product except the words "Studio Samples" are printed on the inside of the front and back cover. A studio sample is sold at a reduced price.

To order studio samples:

  1. Check the box I would like to order studio samples... on the bottom of the Order Summary dialog box.
  2. After clicking Next you will be directed to a Studio Sample dialog box. Check the box Confirm Studio Sample Order at the bottom of the description to confirm the studio sample order.

Shipping Address

Enter where you would like your product(s) shipped in the Shipping Address dialog box. Notice under Ship To that you have the option to ship directly to your customer using drop shipping.

Drop Shipping:
Drop shipping is often used when ordering a gift. Orders that are drop shipped do not include invoices and are mailed in packaging that does not refer to Black River Imaging. Your invoice will be e-mailed to you or you can find it after logging in to our website. There is a small service fee for this option.

Confirm Order

After filling out shipping and billing information, you are directed to the Confirm Order dialog box, here you will review the information you entered and apply any gift cards and promotion codes if applicable. Be sure to look over all information in this section as it is the final step in the ordering process.

Click Previous to return to previous dialog boxes and make edits to your order.

When you are done, click Finish in the lower right-hand corner to confirm your order. An Order Processing Details dialog box will appear showing how quickly your order has been processed. You will then be directed to the Order Queue window.

Order Queue Window

To complete your order, it must be uploaded. Depending on your connection speed and order size, this may take a while. Therefore, after confirming your order, a dialog box will appear asking if you would like the order sent now or later. Whether you send the order now or send the order later, you will be directed to the Order Queue window.

Send Order Now: If you select to send the order now, your order will appear in the Order Queue window. Under the caption "Order Added" with today's date is the message "Preparing upload...." You can cancel your before the order is complete by selecting the X button. Once your order is done preparing, a progress bar appears showing how much of your order is sent. Your order is complete when the progress bar disappears and a message appears listing the size of your order and the date it was sent on.

Send Order Later: If you select to send the order later, your order will appear in the Order Queue window. The order is sitting in the Order Queue but it is not preparing or processing the file. When you want to start sending the order, select the BUTTON HERE button to begin order processing. Under the caption "Order Added" with today's date, the message "Preparing upload..." will appear. You can cancel your order at any time by selecting the X button. Once your order is done preparing, a progress bar appears showing how much of your order is sent. Your order is complete when the progress bar disappears and a message appears listing the size of your order and the date it was sent on.

On the bottom of the Order Queue window there is a Clear All button. When you select this button it will clear all completed orders in your Order Queue. If you select this button when an order is still processing, it will not remove the order. Order Queue Window

 



Note: Cascade must be open to process and complete an order.
